DEMONSTRATING THAT SOCIALITES AREN’T JUST FULL OF HOT AIR
The electronic cigarette market is becoming quite saturated so established brand, Socialites, wanted more cut through. To achieve this they designed a hub where they could show off their knowledge about their products and the market.
I worked with the UX team and designers at Home Agency to put the right words on the pages to demonstrate their wisdom. Part of the task was subtly introducing a new, friendlier tone of voice. But one of the things I was particularly pleased with was the micro copy, evidenced on the home page below. I used lots of little, quirky sentences to keep it light and enticing for users.
